Stellar Recovery DV'd with some results

Stellar Recovery is after me for a Comcast bill that was originally with CPA.  I DV'd them and they removed their entry from my Equifax and Experian reports.  They continued to report on TransUnion with a new activity date.  Is this normal?  Also, Comcast said that I could pay them directly.  Then they would notify the collection agency of the payment.  If I paid Comcast directly, does Stellar have to remove their entry?

Big debate on this one at times on the board.  If you pay the OC, then the CA does not have collection authority and they should delete.   Yes.....

Re: Stellar Recovery DV'd with some results

I don't really have the money to pay comcast off right now.  It's a $300 balance.  Why would Stellar only delete from EQ and EX and not TU after I DV'd them?  I'm grateful that they deleted, but aren't they obligated to delete from all CRAs?  I never got a validation of the debt from them.  I'm wondering if I should I call them.....

Re: Stellar Recovery DV'd with some results

I finally built up the courage to contact stellar's compliance officer after two attempts of writing them.... Turns out that they informed the CRAs to to delete, due to them not being able to validate the debt. TU just didn't comply.
