Did any one hear about Surge MasterCard ? I received an email today asking me to apply for it.
Unless it says your are pre-approved, don't do it. And even if you are, don't do it. Ridiculous fees.

Thanks. I am not intrested in applying for it. Just curious what it is all about.

Don't do it. Throw that email into the spam folder. It's a sub-subprime creditor.
That is what I am going to do. I have a card from Indigo with very high AF. $99/ Year. I dont want another card like that. I am going to slowly start closing the account when they hit 1 year mark and they start assessing annual fees.
Yeah, if they sent you an offer definitely pass on it. I have one so this is speaking from experience. I've had the card a year and a half now. Started with $500 and now I'm at a whopping $625. It's definitely SD and only keeping it active until my 13 is completed September 2021.
I read the offer again. It says first year AF is $125 and after that $96/year. Starting second year there is also a $10/month fees in addition to $96/AF. That is steep. It says there might be a security deposit of $50 / $100 / $150 / $500. Interest rate is 29.99%. I am not sure if that is the secured card or unsecured card. Not sure why so much high fees. I am sending that email to my trash bin.
Stay away from that card.
