Thank you!!!

I couldn't stand the wait anymore on SW so I pulled my EQ report today.  628!!!  Woo Hoo  I am calling my lender Monday to make loan application for a mortgage.  But for now I have to go change my signature!  Smiley Happy  With all the positive changes to my reports I can only assume that Exp and TU have gone up also.

Thank you to everyone on this board!!!!

Re: Thank you!!!

I know waht you mean I pulled my EQ yesterday and recieved a 37 point increase just recieved the alert today. The suspense was killing me because I had pulled my TU and recieved a 3 point increase and wanted to see what increase I would recieve on EQ there was a big difference. Why I still don't understand with three collections deleted and a 30 date late adjusted and removed only 3 points on TU. I'm hoping that over time that three points will turn into thirty points. Congrats on the increase. My LO went ahead and put me under contract with a 617 seeing that I was only three points away from where I needed to be. Still hoping my EX score changed drastically but will have to wait to see since they are not sold on Fico. I signed a contract last Sunday for a home to be built. Just  that it won't be ready until September. Knowing that anything may happen is what scares me. But it will give us time to save up the needed funds for downpayment and closing. So I'll just pray that everything remains the same or increases like it has been over the course of these last five months. Went from 483 TU to 619 one point away from where I need to be. 503 EQ in Dec to 684 May 7. And 496 EX to 598 March 2009.

Re: Thank you!!!

I can't wait to see what the lender pulls on Monday. I didn't bother with the TU because they were about 20 pts different compared to his.  I also ran the simulator to get an estimate of what my score will be after I pay my cc's off/down at the end of the month.  If I leave an $8 balance then it will be 658-698.  If I pay them completely off then it will be lower LOL

Best wishes on the construction of your home!  I just told my realtor about this site and how awesome it is.

If you don't mind could you answer a couple of questions.

1.How did you get that high of scores in a short time?

2.What baddies did you start with and get rid of?

I am so excited.  The lender pulled my report today.  EQ 628/ TU 639/ EX 656  My utilization is still at 81%.  I am paying that down at the end of the month.  I can't wait to see what my scores are at the end of June!!  My LO was amazed at how much of a difference there was between the last report in March and this one.  I am off to go change my signature!!!

Congratulations... may I ask what you did to see such as large score jump in a short amount of time? I'm trying to make it over the 620 hump as well.

I managed to get all of the CA's deleted.  I started with the most recent ones and worked backwards.  I also GW'd a late pay on an auto from almost 2 years ago.  There are 2 CO's that are now reporting a 0 balance.  The only open account I had was my car loan and a JCP card.  I used the JCP card (had been inactive for 8 years!) and I opened 2 new cc's.  This approach is going to vary for everyone.  My oldest acct is almost 18 years old and my AAoA is almost 8 years old.  The positives on my credit score now are the age of credit and the number of accounts I have.  I did what I thought would work based on everything I have read on here.  Read, read and then read some more!!  I think I will get another boost at the end of next month when my utilization decreases to 1%.

Re: Thank you!!!

If you don't mind could you answer a couple of questions.

1. How did you get that high of scores in a short time?

I paid off nearly all of my collections except one. I had eight of them, after paying them off I sent out gw letters. ICSystems, Franklin agreed to remove and delete. Calvary was another story so after emailing the CEO and being turned down I replied back with a DV letter this seemed to get the ball rolling they were gone when I pulled on Friday the 8thCredit Management I sent them a goodwill heard nothing back when I pulled my report it was gone be bye as well. Had a charge off with GEMB/Whitehall paid in full disputed with Transunion that the balance should reflect zero account was deleted lucky me.. Basically spending countless hours on this forum and taking action is what caused my scores to increase. It was stressful. In the beginning of my journey I was trying to reach 580 to qualify for a mortgage. Two weeks after I reached that mark requirements were raised to 620 depressing.. So I kept going just managed to get another account deleted that was showing a 120 day late from NCO/FIN 22.. Account had be sent back to Reliant Energy in 2006 but they were still updating so I sent a DV letter Friday they called back today and said they will delete the account yah me.. One down one more to go. I'm also working to get AIS deleted. They are not licensed and bonded in the state of Texas but trying to collect on an account. Filed a complaint with  BBB. They are also trying to collect on an account I have no knowledge of . These two accounts are listed twice for the same month opened and year.. They will not try to screw me, so I'll fight it to the end

2. What baddies did you start with and get rid of?

ICsystems 300 settled for 148

Whitehall 800 settled for 500

Franklin 72

Calvary Sprint 280 settled for 120

Calvary Time Warner 112 paid in full

AIS Express Telephone 417 disputing

AIS Express Telephone  168 disputing

Portfolio Direct Energy 313 not paid
