I was just approved by the credit union I bank with for their Visa card with a $3500 credit limit! I know that may not seem like much to some, but after having two starter cards with only $300 CL each (plus annual fees!!!!) for about a year, I was eager for a card (with no annual fee!) that I can use for $100-200 purchases without killing my utilization. The interest rate on the new card is 10.99% for purchases, but for cash advances and balance transfers is only 5.99%, so I plan to take a cash advance for purchases and pay the lower interest rate. ![]()

Great Job!! I just got my second card approved from my CU. I asked for a secured card and they said they don't do them any longer but they would give me an unsecured card for $500 and if I keep the payments up they will increase my CL by $500 every 6 months......I got this!
Starting Score: Way to go!!
Nice job!
We love happy dances! congrats!
