I have been reading the forum for a week and I see a lot of valuable info here. I have been working on my credit since 2008. Last year I opened up a Secured CC with my CU. Also I have two CC with Premier 
. One is about a year old ($200) and one is 4 months old ($350). I keep both at a zero balance. I have paid off a few of my CA's and CO's. I did not arrange for PFD. Has anyone had any success getting settle and PIF accounts deleted.

What you are looking for is called a GW letter around here. GW=goodwill
Check out the 2nd sticky from the top of this board----Frequently Requested Threads.
And under Examples letters you will find Goodwill letters, that will show you how one is written.
search the threads here and you will find GW success post.
Use the search box with the CA name to see if others have had GW success.
I believe GW letter do better with CA's then with OC's. When writing a GW letter.....write one in a positive light, like you've matured and have a better understanding of credit and you may use them in the future. And that their customer service was great.
