Trying to rebuild. Getting conflicting info on disputes

I disputed 2 tradelines that were duplicates and credit karma said they were removed by equifax but equifax emailed me and stated that the accounts belonged to me. I wasnt arguing that they werent I was stating that they were duplicates. Everything was reporting the same. Im just confused. Why would credit karma say they were removed but they are still there? Also, same with transunion. On credit karma it says that 1 account was removed from my credit report by transunion but its still there on my report and transunion said its a correct tradeline. I dont get it. Can someone explain?

CK is a third party provider, disputes should not be done thru 3rd party providers as mis information like this is rampant, do your disputes preferrably by mail directly with the CRA with copies of the duplicate and request to remove one.

I actually called Equifax and they referred me to the Original Creditor. I called them and they are taking care of it. I sent them copies of the duplicate tradelines. So we will see what happens. Thank you
