It has been exactly one month since I got serious about working on my credit and improving my scores across the board. Though I've been lazily working on it for the last two years - when I started thinking about things, my scores were all in the ~590 range. By lazy I mean just... paying bills on time all the time but not really paying attention to my reports and focusing on those baddies, and actively working toward score increases.
On 01/19/18, my scores were: EQ 636 / EX 627 / TU 596
Today, my scores are: EQ 667 (+31) / EX 665 (+38) / TU 617 (+21)
I'm pretty happy with this - not bad for a month of work. Things that improved my scores:
*GW deletion of paid collection.
*New account reporting.
*Lower utilization (combo of new higher CL but also paid down open CCs).
Things I still need to work on:
*Removing chargeoff on student loan from 1998 (further investigation shows it was last reported in 2015...).
*Removing collection for hospital bill from 2013 (legit, need to get it paid)
<these are only 2 baddies>
*AZEO
*Transunion. Seriously what gives, TU? All info seems to be exactly the same as what is reporting on the other two.
*Continuing to hammer GW requests for 30d late payments from 2015 (already refused for 1 - 2 more to go)
*Building savings
1st GOAL: 700 club across the board.
Soo... making progress! Hope to see more improvement over the next month as my utilization drops.
Very good, and on the medical if you dont already know
For unpaid medical debt that is reporting on your CR:
1. Call the OC and see if you qualify for Charity Care
2. If not then ask that they recall the collection in exchange for full payment
3. Send the reporting CA a PFD offer
4. Google the HIPAA Process and contact its creator for help
Well I got an alert today from CreditWise - my TU (Vantage) score is now 645. It shows an 80 point increase from 01/13/18. !!!

Vantage scores fluxiate 50 points in either direction compared to FICO 8. What does your FICO 8 show?
I'm not actually sure if it has also increased since my initial post here. I subscribe to credit monitoring through Experian, and I only get all 3 bureaus once per month. I'll have to wait to find out. But typically the CreditWise score is the lowest of them all. I don't put TOO much stock in it, but all the same it's nice to see a +80 in the span of just over a month. Maybe C1 will be inclined to give that CLI now. It has been almost a year since the last (and only) one.
