I recently filed an unsuccessful case wtih the CFPB agains Wells Fargo Home Mortgage that was concluded today. I've posted some of this information in another post, but essentially what happened is that they miscalculated my escrow in November, 2012, instructed me not to pay until it was corrected. I made the payment with my December mortgage payment, and it was reported as late. Wells Fargo will not remove because they said they instructed me on the phone to pay on November 26th, and I paid on December 14th. I've not had any late payments with Wells Fargo and have been a mortgage customer of theirs since October, 2008. The only late payment I've made is because of this confusion that happened.
Another poster recommeded that I request a GW by sending letters to some of the higher ups at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Does anyone have contacts for that or recommeded contacts?
