What's my next step?

I have been working on rebuilding since the middle of last year, starting out in the mid 500's. My goal is to buy a house the beginning of next year. My current FICO 8 scores are 693/703/718 and my middle mortgage score is 671. Right now I have 3 credit cards: Discover (my oldest card from 2005), Cap 1 Quicksilver and Cap 1 Platinum. The 2 Cap 1 cards were opened in July of last year. At this point should I try to app for another card or should I wait until after securing a mortgage before trying to add a few more cards?

Three revolvng lines of credit are adequate providing at least one is a major bank card.

adding more cards at this point will lower your AAoA. Stand pat until ready to app, then use UTI% to peak your scores.
