My current fico 8 experian is 551.

I am wanting to get approved for a mortgage next summer.

I am auothorized user on my wifes credit car. 25k limit and we only let report maybe 100 bucks a month.

The instalment loan used to pay off debt will report at 280 a month.

80k income.

What can I do in the meantime to help my credit over the next year.

Should I sit still few a few months make sure everything reports accurate?

Try to seek a new Credit Card to leave open?

I drive cash cars so no auto loans

Perfect payments and time will do the most good. Congrats on getting the past in the past. Do you have any cards at all in your name?

This is what I was going to ask. If not,  maybe open a couple (AFTER everything updates) to build some history.

Re: What's next?

Time to get some cards as you as the primary owner. Cap1 is the most forgiving. Of course it will be a bucket card. Its the revolving account that matters most. Mission Lane is pretty good for rebuilding. And Merrick bank will double your CL after perfect payments. Spread out your apps. In time 3 is whats needed to hit the FICO satisfaction for total revolvers. Some lenders ignore AU accounts. Time to start the rebuild.
