hopefully i didnt ruin myself

I had an auto loan and I was late a lot at a certain time. I was 120 days behind more than once, 30 days A LOT. I lost my job because I got really sick, and just couldnt pay it. I just paid it off a few weeks ago, and I was wondering when it will look normal again? It says how many times I was late and Im worried when I go to buy a new house, they are gonna look and laugh! I hope you can understand what Im asking. Will it ever disappear? Are they going to see that forever?

Each late will be on your credit reports for 7 years from the point that it occurred. Have you tried sending a goodwill letter to the creditor asking if they will remove any of the lates ??

The good news is that you paid this off and the car didn't get reposessed and leading to a judgement.   The bad news is that these negative marks will remain with you for 7 yrs.   The only thing you can do is ask for a goodwill adjustment, maybe get some of the 120s and 90s reduced to 60s and 30s?  I would call and ask for their credit reporting department.
