just paid CO, can I start sending GW letters?

Actually, about 10 days ago DH finally paid his last negative, a 3-4 year old(TU reports since the first delinquency while the others since the acct was closed)$600 charge off with Synchrony. Can he start GW'ing or should he wait until they update the status? They said it'll take them 3 weeks to process and 60 days to update...hopefully it'll be much sooner but we don't wanna waste time, if possible... Thanks in advance!

IMO, I would wait until it updates first to be sure it updates and reports accurately. Once it does then send GW’s out to every address that you can find and even emails. Use BrutalBodyShots GW Saturation Technique. You can search it on here. It reposts quite a bit so, should be easy to find.

So the acct was paid off a month ago and it updated a few days ago to show a $0 balance but the status is still "charge off". I understand they like to remind everyone it was charged off but I thought they were supposed to change payment status to "paid/was charge-off"... His credit score did get a good 20 point bump from the change in utilization from 35% to 2% but now I'm even more confused... Does this mean we're good to go with the GW or still have to wait for the status update? Technically there is no money owed even though the payment status says otherwise :/

You can call whom ever you PIF of the CO and explain about the notation. IMHO, I would not dispute it, unless they do not correct it.
You can start your GW campaign NOW or wait for the correction of the notation, GW’g now might get the entire TL removed?? Upto you? But, as always....YMMV.
