Re: reporting

Depends on the state laws involved and if restrictive endorsements are legal and binding.

Re: reporting

The state statutes would be a good starting point. See the link titled "State Resources" in my signature.

Re: reporting

restrictive endorsements are very weak in court. no judge likes them. very hard to prove intent, impossible to prove agreement.

the fundamental principle is that the creditor has a right to its money, and the debtor can't attach conditions to payment without explicit consent of the creditor.

Re: reporting

thanks for the info.....I dont think they would put it back on there after it was deleted once before...But if they do, I can only hope that CRA dosent send me a letter withthin the 5 day period,so i can dispute them about not letting me know-----Then I could try to get it removed again that away-----Hopefully by then that Collection agency would have forgotten all about me, to want to put it back on again, since they have there money.   time can only tell...

The CRA only has to notify you of re-insertion when something that has been removed due to a dispute directly with them is re-inserted.

If they report, send GW letters.
