Will it hurt my score if I close let's say 2 of those accounts. My hospital bill is my main concern. I owe 1700 and they would settle for 500, but they won't remove it. They would put settled in full. Won't be deleted until 2018. Everything else falling off in the first 3 months of 15.
Unfortunately, its relatively recent - that makes it far less likely for them to want to settle for less - hence the reluctance. If you want it removed your going to have to either sweeten the offer, or research using HIPPA. It not a process we are allowed to discuss here, so google is your friend. Search "WhyChat HIPPA"

My credit scores a few months ago were in the low 500's. Since then I paid off 2 first premiere cards, got a fingerhut card with a 600 limit, my F.P. cards were 300 each. I had like 15 hard inquiries, just got a merrick bank card with a 500 limit. Credit Karma up to 635, equifax 610, and Experian 665. I have alot of old negatives from over 6 yrs ago and a hospital bill for 1700. on my report still. I have since hired lexington law to deal with negatives. 2 months in and nothing removed yet. They told me I need more positive accounts so I did shopping cart trick n got 5 new accounts, but my scores took a little dip. Is this dip just short term and after good payments on my 9 accounts now it will rebound. Am I moving in the right direction?
Get rid of Lexignton law and save your money!!!!! they can not do anything that you cant do your self, plus they leave a bunch of dispute remarks on your report.....you need to send out Dv letters and try PFD letters your self....and the score dip is short term....

And I have to many inquiries. I figure just pay my bills perfect for a year. No more inquiries, and by next Christmas I should be able to get a good card. I know lexington is expensive, and I should be able to do what there doing, but do they work? I have a few bad negatives that are turning 7 yrs early in 2015. Will they fall off my report?
