I sent the Pre-HIPAA dispute letter 2 months ago. I recieved a response from the CA:
We are in reciept of your correspondence regarding reported info reported by a credit reporting agency related to the above referenced acct. We have reviewed the info you provided, as well as our notes and the info provided by the OC.
As a result of our investigation we are hereby denying that the info being reported on your credit file is inaccurate, and we reported your acct as "disputed" to the credit reporting agencies.
Fine, so I send the Med DV letter to the CA (scenario 2 for all 3 CRAs)....and I get the exact same letter as a response! Only difference is the date.
Now what? Should I send the follow up dispute letter 2? It states that I have not had a responce from the CA, I have...it was just worthless
