prefer this method over apple pay or nfc andriod pay whatever any day.. I just wont be the guniea pig until they get the bugs and emv worked out. Once this is done I will give it a swing as makes managing cards alot easier. Let others beta test it for me for awhile first

In that case, plastc probably wouldn't work either, where it is useful is places that don't accept Apple Pay or Android Pay yet. It works anywhere a regular card would.
Yes, you can still use your Plastc Card even if you’re not near your phone. Keep in mind that your Plastc Card will go into recovery mode if out of range of your phone for a specific period of time that you set.
yes, so that is all dependent on how long you want your card to be usable if it is stolen

They sent out their update yesterday. It will not be shipping until March 29, 2016, but those who pre-order before August 25 will be able to receive a second card for free. It will support MasterCard EMV upon shipping with further support in subsequent updates. If you buy it after shipping begins though, there is a $50 per year subscription fee that preorderers don't need to pay.
So you have until when exactly to pre-order (barring the second card) to not pay the annual fee?
How long are your existing credit cards usable in the event they're stolen?
You can preorder up until the ship date and pay no subscription fee.
As far as how long your cards are usable in the cse they are stolen, that is up to the length of time you choose in the app (this of course can only be changed when the card is in range, if stolen, you cannot shorten the time frame.)

That's pretty cool actually.
I'm wondering, should I get this if I already pre-ordered the Swyp?
Edit: why does it say Shipping begins April 29, 2016 on the website?
