Anyone else getting marketing stuff from American Express Publishing?

Amex publishing gave me a 1mil sweepstakes entry and the option to get two free issues of some magazine.

Just a few days ago, I took them up on an offer for a free companion airfare for trying Food and Wine magazine for 2 months then an automatic subscription if not canceled. The companion ticket I'm sure will have a lot of strings, but low risk.

Has anyone else gotten these offers yet?

Re: Anyone else getting marketing stuff from American Express Publishing?

I've been getting this stuff for over a year. Planners, sweepstakes, magazines, on and on.

The planner is kind of nice, if I can figure where I put it, and I suppose the mags if you like the content, but for AmEx to be running sweepstakes seems surreal to me. I never really associated Ed McMahon knocking on my door, holding a fistful of helium balloons, with American Express.

I recycle stuff like that every few months.  And I have yet to find a free companion ticket off that was cheaper than me buying two myself  Smiley Very Happy

Along with an invoice for the $5000 join-up fee and/or the $2500 annual fee! Smiley Wink
