Gosh, it seems like just yesterday I was timidly posting for the first time. But, "yesterday" was really "yesteryear"-- 2008, to be exact. I started lurking in this community shortly after it took root in 2007. I started posting in 2008, and never looked backed.

I can't find the right words to tell you what this community has meant to me over the years. I guess I don't really need to... most of you will already understand.

Never-the-less, it's time for me to join the ranks of the Moderator Emerita. I've submitted my resignation, and I'm riding off into the sunset. I hope that, in some small way, I've been able to give back at least a fraction of what I've gained.

I still remember that it was you who deleted a very early post of mine (which in hindsight was rather snippy) and I was so shocked and surprised by your action. 

But I've since learned why it was done and I also learned to appreciate your not-nearly-often-enough comments about various subjects.
