She was hired in specifically to handle NBA Amex... They are either throwing her under a bus that she can't stop or she has taken on something in software that she doesn't understand and is epically messing this process up.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's the first!

If others are having ID issues with BBVA, if you call the 800 number at the end of your "denial for ID" reasons letter, they will give you the above address and the person's name to whom you should address the letter.

I'm pretty sure from what I've read online that it just goes to a general department anyway as responses are rare without additional agency interventions.

Just a note... I've mentioned before on other threads, I know from past experience with BBVA/Compass Bank, the address posted here (and on the letters) is their general address, used for checking deposits, savings accounts, ATM rebates, etc. 

It's a 'catch-all' address, and you really need to have a person's name (or at minimum, a department) to make sure your correspondence gets to the right folks, or else it could be floating around for a while (or, opened/examined my multiple people that have nothing to do with your issue). 

If you're reading this thread and haven't received your letter yet, either wait for your letter for the complete addressing information, or PM someone who has already has the information - you really need a name or department to be on your envelope, especially if you're sending ID verification information.

I like BBVA.  I have my mortgage with them and received a credit card with $13,200 limit.
