California Refund BS and New Slogan Game

Finally after 73 days held hostage I recieved my tax refund today!  Yay for me! Now for the more important news, the winner of the new California Slogan Contest is:

State Controller John Chiang's submission  "CALIFORNIA - THE CHECKS IN THE MAIL"

I thought they didn't pay interest unless its not received after June 1...maybe wrong, maybe thats only if you submitted April 15.

I sent mine in around the 1st of February...no word yet.  Waiting for that $1,000 !  (goes to back yard landscape)

Just got my refund today, a little over 4 weeks after I filed.  Now I can pay my car and homeowners insurance (among other things).
