I just received my Chase CSR replacement card the other day. It is heavier than the old one, and the Visa logo is on the back. Additionally, "Chase" and "Sapphire Reserve" are laser-engraved, not printed. Overall, a better quality card.
Isn't "Chase CSR" redundant? ![]()

My pre-refresh CSR was laser engraved with Chase and Sapphire Reserve, and the Visa logo is on the back. I only picked it up late last year so maybe there was a different version before that?
Either way, congrats on the upgraded card. I have been on the fence on whether or not to get the new card. When Amex refreshed the Platinum card a few years ago the newer card was a downgrade and lost the word "Platinum" across the front.
You and I have the same CSR card. The new ones wont be available until 10.26.25 for excisting cardholders.

That makes sense, and thank you for clarification.
