There's a very simple app called Chronicle for your iPhone that does what you want. No frills, tracks bills, and due dates. There's a pro version for $6.99 a year which gets your forecasts and cloud storage. The free version does just what you want tho. Here's a screenshot
also Mint.com does the same thing for free too and has its own app and website.
