Custom cards (data & chip migration)

Howdy,

I was wondering if anyone has experience with any of the custom card manufacturers?

Mainly the custom cards seem to be about the 'cool factor', however there is one design that is particularly interesting to me which combines 2 cards into one. While I don't have that many cards, I could appreciate combining a few cards.

well don't you have to send them your credit card for them to do it?

Yes, they need to remount the chip and clone the magnetic data for the custom card.

The RFID capability may or may not function in the new card depending on the antenna design of the original (some antenna are external of the chip) card and the interference the new metal card may pose to an in-chip antenna.
