Ah Ha - a silver fern
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

mel, you better snatch him up fast! There are not a lot of good men left (their all married)! If you don't snatch him, send him my way! Seriously though, if you don't work directly with him then there's nothing wrong with going on a date! ;-)

Don't be so quick to dismiss the possibilities here. I met my husband online playing Euchre and he's from New Zealand.

Ah, yes, I'd always heard that those online euchre sites were notorious! Smiley Very Happy

New Zealand, huh? North Island or South?

South Island, Christchurch area.  It's absolutely beautiful there.

Oh, wow, I've been there; it's lovely. I hope you get to go back and visit there occasionally.

It's probably a good thing that it's so far and expensive, or I'd be going there all the time, and eventually just not come back. Smiley Sad

Me, too, HTSU.  *sigh*  It's gorgeous.  And I'm partial to the Taranaki region of North Island, too.

MsKiwi, does your hubby have any unmarried brothers, male cousins, etc., that he might be willing to send my way?  I'm a complete pushover for the Kiwi accent!!  Smiley Wink

All his brothers are married but he has approx 20 cousins and nephews. I'm sure we could hook you up. I agree on the accent. <swoon>

Since all the extras in the Lord of the Rings trilogy were Kiwis, I have decided to picture your husband's entire extended family as Elves. As I am almost 5'9", I would rather not think that they were hobbits! Smiley Wink

Hmmm....well, I'm single, 43, no kids, and generally prefer younger guys; if any of the single male 'rellies' anywhere from about age 28-29 through my own age might be interested in a pint-sized blonde with green eyes, PM me and we'll see what can be worked out. Smiley Wink  Smiley Very Happy

OP, sorry for my silly thread-jacking.  Any news on YOUR almost-not-quite flirtation?!  Smiley Happy  I say nudge a mutual acquaintance to do the initial investigation for you - we only regret the things we DIDN'T do! Smiley Wink  Get somebody to find out if there's mutual interest and, if so, get that first date set up for you!  Go for it!
