Anyone else experiencing delays with Fedex Express?
I've got a few cards shipped out to me via Fedex Express .. they arrive in the local office and just sit there undelivered!
And this:
Not on my end. Just received a couple things today without any delays. Keep in mind that some delays could be regional or hub-based and may not impact other operations elsewhere.
This is the second time it happened to me just in the last two weeks. I called and they told me my shipments are still in a container (3 days after arriving in the local center) and that they have no drivers to deliver them!

Well, if there's shortages of staff not much you can really do. Though, FedEx isn't the only company experiencing staffing issues, that's just anywhere these days 🤷♂️
I received a package this afternoon. It was sent overnight from the UK to the US. There was a delay clearing customs, but FedEx still managed to deliver it on schedule. Very pleased.
Ha, this seems to be a Seattle area problem then. Express or not, it's sitting for a few days at the facility.
I shipped several temperature sensitive packages FedEx Next Day Priority that they delivered a day or two late. After this happened a couple of times, I started asking for my money back based on their on-time guarantee. After giving refunds on a few packages, they said dry ice packages are no longer under the guarantee!
Those famous stories about FedEx doing amazing things to get your package delivered? No longer the case, my friend.
Personally Fedex use to be the gold standard now at least to me they are a mess. Much rather use UPS. Next day air on so many occasions in the last few years end up being like a week plus going form one coast to another for no apparent reason. If at all possible I personally avoid Fedex if possible. They lose a tons of package whether lost of internal theft.
@CreditCuriosity If I had a choice, I'd choose UPS without hesitation. Fedex once lost a $3k package after I asked them to hold it so I can pick it up since I was out of town.
West Coast in general seems to be dominated by Fedex, but their reliability has been declining for years!

I live in Nashville and their corporate hub is in memphis so think it would be great here, but they are awful. Obviously every warehouse and driver area is different. Agree they use to be the best, but can tell personally decline in service and simple google searches will yield 100's of post a day of people not getting packages or delayed, etc.
