Look here, how do I navigate from Forum back to Dashboard?  I've been going to My Account tab and logging back in, because the only method I can find.  Has to be a easier way.

I believe the forum automatically logs you out after some inactivity/idle time (not sure how many minutes before it does that).  I'd always have to log back in after awhile since this isn't the only forum I visit.

Well somebody in the chain of command needs to rectify that.  Quite annoying for a guy to leave the dashboard to come here and then have to log back in to go back.

To be honest I've never thought about that before.

There's no direct link.

There's a seperation of church and state for I'm not entirely quite certain as to what the reason is (it's all Single Sign On against FICO's user database even for forum accounts) but it's a more highly secured section of the site.

If I had to guess it was likely the forum at inception wasn't SSL enabled possibly not for login even... it still isn't for the forum itself and I haven't the faintest idea why given how trivial it is to do and how the performance impact has gone down tremendously in recent years.

Other than bookmarking the Dashboard that's all I can really suggest; I don't find myself switching back between dashboard and forums often, actually I hardly look at the dashboard at all personally so maybe I'm not the common use case... mostly I use the mobile app personally.

Let us know what you can find out on that.   I log in to dashboard, check stuff out, click community and come here.

Get done here but can't go back to dashboard without goin back to log in?   Maybe I'm not seeing the link?

The dashboard area gives access to a lot of personal information. If you leave the dashboard, come play in the forum, then go back to the dashboard, there's a possibility that you've actually left your computer and somebody else is now using it. So for security they require you to log back in before you can access all that confidential info. It's a little annoying, but I'd say worth the extra trouble.

FYI - you are automatically logged out of the member center if you've been idle in the member center for 20 minutes or more. Forums activity is treated separately. This is for security purposes.
