What ever you have on your new computer will need to be compatible with your old one. A cd rom would work for sure.
Go to bleepingcomputer.com and download Rkill. Boot your infected computer to safemode with networking. Take the cd with rkill on it and put it in your infected computer. Go to the drive it is in and find the executable file. It may look like it isn't doing anything but a black screen should pop up. It will tell you to be patient then it will stop all the processes the the virus started. Once that is done, you should be able to go to the internet and download the free version of malwarebytes antivirus from malwarebytes.org.
Run the antivirus. Do NOT reboot your computer.
Go back on the internet and download Spybot Search and Destroy. Run that.
All of this may take 30 minutes or so. Once you run the antivirus and Spybot, reboot to regular mode. Run the quick scan on the antivirus, then Spybot again. It should be clean.
Use this site to download rkill. There are several variations of it. Use whatever works. I used the iexplore and had no problems at all.
