I received an email informing me that a company I am doing medical reviews for is using IDology verification process. The process reportedly includes ID IQ where I have to answer 6 authentication questions. ID scan verification where I need to scan a drivers license, passport or other government ID. Upload a self image of myself in real time. ID death scrub where I need to provide name, DOB, SSN to check against national database in order to flag deceased individuals. I have already gon through their credentialling prior to hire. This IDology verification raises questions regarding who has access to my information and is it stored and potentially sold in the future. Any feedback regarding the experience of knowledge of this type of verification is appreciated.
