A few days back Chase released an action report that offered that they would be opening 40 new branch banks in Minnesota during the next year or so. It went on to say they opened their first branch in North Dakota.
They reported that they now have a physical site in 48 states. Minnesota already has Wells Fargo, US Bank and Huntington Bank with a major physical presence. Chase sees an opportunity to absorb many more clients in a state littered with banks.
Suspect, they will challenge the existing status quo and absorb some of their customers (a fresh new face).
Never thought I would see the day? Surely will eat the words. For myself, Chase has had me as a customer since 2006 so a physical presence will be of interest.
