I'm a relative newby here and for the life of me couldn't figure out why in friendly conversations folks kept referring to one another as MFers. I thought maybe it is like one of my facebook groups where cuss words are often used as terms of endearment. But I kept seeing *bleep* used in place of real cuss words so I figured that swearing doesn't fly here on MyFico.com...and THEN it hit me... My Fico...THAT'S where the MFers comes from, it means fellow my fico members, NOT well...you know what I thought originally (parental unit fornicators)

Well, if it makes you feel any better, in 1998, I thought " lol " was a sideways emoji of a stern face with a big nose. I imagined it meant
. I was 13 years old, and I couldn't understand why this girl on AIM group chat wasn't happy about my jokes.

Took a quick glance for curiosity sake. DD stands for Dear Daughter here? I thought it was Darling Daughter, because aliterations trump consistency.
