Media: Consumer Credit on Fire

Financial news networks starting to cover exploding consumer credit usage in their story highlights recently. The jist is that consumers are swiping like never before and the banks are loving it. It may be a helluva Holiday season for the credit Ninjas as banks want a bigger piece of the action. Plastic.. plastic everywhere....Smiley Very Happy

They may love it now but wont when they wont be paid back, its due to wage stagnation.

Re: Media: Consumer Credit on Fire

It is September and everyone wants to get the new plastic before the seasonal rush. Nothing to see here, at least nothing new. This happens every year.  You can set a watch by it if you want.

Re: Media: Consumer Credit on Fire

Should get interesting with so many new issuers out there now like Goldman and Petal (WebBank).
