Phone Plans with NO Data still access Google??

Are there any decent phone plans that have absolutely NO data or internet access? It seems it's almost completely impossible to find such a thing these days.

EDIT: So the phone--a stone-age flip phone-- has a talk and text only line but it can still pull up Google and do searches? It won't go to any other site though.  What? Anybody have a techy explanation for this?

I think all carriers offer at least some data on their plans nowadays. You could try Red Pocket. Depending on what your needs are, their lowest-priced plan is $2.50 per month, though that is limited to 200 minutes and 1,000 texts per month.

Funny you posted this. We have a line on Verizon that is non-data. We just got a letter that they're going to be shutting it down. I didn't read it, but assume it's due to shutting down the old cell networks. 

My question is, are you wanting a dumb phone, or don't want data on a smart phone?

Yeah, I have Verizon and they say they have no options for data-free plans. I'm looking for a dumb phone but it's not for  me. 

I found out today that T-Mobile has a talk/text only plan without data, so I went with that. So this thread isn't needed anymore lol
