Plenti

I got the Pleni card (not the Amex, just the membership one) to see if it was as poor as it seems.   And so far, the answer is yes!    At Exonn-Mobil on gas, you earn 1 point per GALLON, not per $.   Now granted this is all extra to whatever credit rewards you are using, but a recent fill earned me 9 Plenti points, which didn't really justify remembering to take out the card and swipe it

Maybe one day with more partners......

That's why I'm passing for now and I have ATT&T for wireless.  Just doesn't seem like reward potential is anything special

This only confirms the "suckability" (not a valid word-joke word)  of the plenti card........

Re: Plenti

I did the same, just to see if there was anything I could double or triple dip on. Sock drawered the rewards card as soon as it came. Nothing worth while unless i suppose you use tons of gas or shop a ton at macys.

Re: Plenti

I have it with Rite Aid. Not even cash back, store credit basically. Doesn't get more anemic than that.

IMO more of a hassle to even take out of my wallet like LTL said for 9 points I assume for 9 gallons of gas.. Just won't happen, not worth it for me to carry even though I have the card, not the CC version..  They really need to improve the things or it will be a big flop imo and a waste of money.  whoever thought it was a good idea in its current form needs to have their head checked (once again just my opinion).. I really hope they have bigger and alot BETTER plans for this.

With that said I am sure they are getting tons of people applying for that CC who have no idea about rewards etc.  I would also tend to beleive although still not proved it has the loosest UW standards as the apr goes up to 25%!!

Re: Plenti

Then add it to passbook on iPhone if you have one. I have my American Eagle and Starbucks onto it. Plus it's free so I see no issue with it if it comes with a key chain thingy
