Ditto to Excel. I keep it on there, made the file name innocent looking (like Book1), put it on a different tab, and made all the lettering white so you can't see it if anyone ever gained access to the file, and I'll abbreviate the password info. I also keep all of my CC and debit numbers on there with pin numbers, exp. dates and 3 digit codes. I scramble those numbers just to be safe.
this sounds like a winner! i will just add a tab into my bills spreadsheet! thanks llecs ![]()
At any time I have about three current passwords, one only for my work, one for "high security" accounts and one for "low security" accounts like some random website. A former boss of mine had a Gaelic dictionary and a pattern only he knew for selecting passwords from it. Whatever works for you without either using something obvious or writing it down is best. For instance, have you a favorite poem? Maybe use first letters of successive lines with a few numbers mixed in or something...

I put all mine in a word document and lock it to everyone but me.
The encryption of Word is not terribly high security and could be broken by somebody technical. There are better encryption programs you should use instead.
