Fast. 0-60 in like 3.2 secs which is impressive by itself, but this beast weighs 8,520 pounds!
Love it. How's the build quality? It's the only thing that makes me crazy about these startups is you can tell they haven't been making cars long. They've gotten better but every time you close the door on a German car you can tell the build quality is in another universe.
That said I'll never own another one outside of warranty. 
@NoMoreE46 dude, you're not gonna believe this but I thought of you today. The Mrs and I got to see one on the way home from brunch this afternoon. You're right, DEFINITELY not the panel issues like Tesla, and it is pretty nice. Looked very high quality. Appeared bigger than I thought. Pics do not do it justice. It's a nice ride.
It's amazing that door-closing is like 10th on the list of lessons everyone else can learn from the Germans. Incredible machines.
I was an original reservation holder back in 2012 for the Model S. They raised the price by $9000. It was already more than I had ever spent on a car by a 5 figure margin. But when i finally saw one in person it was disappointing. I had an A8 at the time and there was no comparison. We prefer the German cars also.... well, the Mrs still does, I'm finding it hard to get past the value proposition of Hondas now that I'm halfway through my 50's. 🤣
Agree on the R1T @CreditCuriosity , its an acquired taste. Definitely not as scary as we used to think electric cars were gonna look tho.
Oh that is sick. LOVE the innovation. I think that's definitely more doable than say, a Cybertruck... Even the F150 is a sweet alternative, as is the Silverado.
My situation is almost identical... wife has a 2018 Cayenne (about 13 months left on the warranty 😉), and I whatever particular Honda is the current flavor in my brain.
