So I sheered the protective layer off my Discover It card. The purple and chrome you see underneeth appear to be some sort of paint or coating. I was going to contact Discover for a replacement card, but then I got thinking... maybe I should take it further? Take the paint underneath the rest of the way off and expose the raw orange. Maybe paint it or something? I dunno. Thoughts?
Also, realizing this should have been placed in SmorgasBoard. Mods, pls move or delete as you deem appropriate. I can't see a way to delete it on my own...
I gave you kudos before your post gets moved to the land of no kudos...because that's really cool looking! Many years ago I cut up an inactive AMEX Gold (back when they were plastic) into many, many pieces and taped it back together in the right order. I was in my early 20s at the time and had nothing better to do, apparently.
It looked like a stained glass AMEX! Wish I still had it.
