In my Starbucks app today ( double Star day tomorrow so got that activated ) they have a link available to your Delta SkyMiles account. Earn 1 SkyMile per $1 spent at Starbucks. Double Star day at Starbucks when you are traveling on Delta. Nice addition if you ask me.
Being in the Seattle area, also signed up again this year for the 12's Fan Promo on Delta. For every passing yard of Seahawks offense, 1 SkyMile goes in my account. That promo has been going for at least 5 years. Requires signing up every fall, but free miles, no bruising.

I didn't think any of those "in store locations" purchases like when inside a grocery store or Target would work that way so I never bothered to get a drink there.

Yeah, one could redeem stars, but otherwise, seems no use really if you wanna rack up pts. Had to pay with Bilt(x5 for 5 days!).
