Tax refund ?

I submitted my taxes on January 19th and my stuff hasnt been approved yet. But my GF submitted hers I believe last week sometime and hers already went through?

Has anyone had any trouble with this?

Mine were accepted the night I did them, I think on January 28th

I filed on 1/20 accepted 1/23 and received my deposit yesterday!

If you have EIC or child tax credit they will start issuing refunds feb 15

I filed and the IRS accepted on jan 25th and it still says processing on where's my refund site.  I claimed student interest other than that just one w2 simple return.  I have friends that already got their refunds and filed later than I did   Hopefully I'll get by the Feb 10th   Last year it only took a week to get it.

I have no idea what you mean by a refund.  So I decided to give the good ole Merriam-Webster a lookup and found this:

1. transitive verb

2. 1 :  to give or put back

3. 2 :  to return (money) in restitution, repayment, or balancing of accounts

Ummm, that is a big no.

Well I submitted my tax refund Friday night (3 Feb), it was accepted Monday/Tuesday (5th/6th), and NFCU says I have it incoming on Friday, (10th). I did it on TurboTax and did not claim EIC or anything so that may have sped things up. It also looks like the refund will be used once it hits the bank to pay the car down a lot more

m still waiting.   Its been over 2 weeks since I filed.  IRS accepted on 1/25 and still says received and processing. Once it gets past 21 days mark I can call them about it.  Just seems strange for such a simple return...I double checked my return and its all good.  I did it on TurboTax  have used them for years now.

Phew!  My refend is finally approved and I should get my refund by 2/15.   I was getting nervous...

So I submitted January 29th at night, it was accepted that same night, and I received the refund direct deposit on February 8th, 10 days later.

Not too bad for something from Uncle Sam.
