Hello-
My USB AR is my primary card, and with a 40k limit and real gem. I'm trying to decide if I should apply for a Smartly card and risk a small SL since I maybe (probably) near max exposure with USB. Or convert my exisiting AR, and have to take a new card number and probably lose all the benefits with AR.
Is anyone else asking themselves this question?

I am asking myself the same question. Exposure with them is 34.4K between two cards, just converted my platinum (14.4k) to another cash+ and (I guess) I'm waiting for the middle of next month for the benefits to change (selecting categories; gonna be Gym & Banana Republic). I barely use the OG Cash+ 130 monthly and whatever I may want when I get the urge to go to dicks or REI or buy a new iPhone.. They always SP CLId me on the cash but not Platnium (that was a 9K BT @ opening.) So thrilled with that.
(ok irrelevant information over
max exposure I believe is going to be income dependent + how much you put through the card monthly. Can you share that? I believe they have my income @ 100k or 120k
I would like a minimum 10SL and I'll even out my new cash+ CL to 10k if they don't give me a large SL & ask for a reconsideration.
It'll may grow organically imo with the fact that all my spend would be going through that, especially when or if I roll my 401k into an Roth IRA with them.
I ramble - I hope some of this was somewhat helpful.

I am currently at $60k total CL spread across 3 cards with US Bank. I've given some thought to the new Smartly card, and am uncertain if I'm willing to jump through all the hoops necessary to extract maximum value. Unless there is a nice signup bonus, I won't do a new application. However, I might be willing to product change my Shopper Cash Rewards as I have not been putting as much spend as expected on that card. I'm also concerned about how two of the Altitude cards (Go and Connect) have recently been somewhat nerfed, and whether or not devaluations will expand to include Reserve.

I think you need to provide more information. After the AR's AF, credits, benefits, and rewards, what do you value the equivalent CB to be, percentage wise? Which level of the Smartly are you looking at? 2%, 2.5%, 3%, or 4% CB? What is your plan for investing $5,000 - $100,000 with USB and what do you think your return on that investment will be?
