Very little knowledge of USB products seems needed!   People responded that they hadn't heard of the Smartly, didn't have a credit card etc.

Let's see if the rewards really happen, otherwise a very low quality resource!

Re: USBank Idea Exchange

The first thing they have you do, once you are approved, is add a response to a moderator asking you to introduce yourself and make your first post with your name and what you are looking forward to in fall, resulting in a bunch of responses like this:  "Hello, I am <first name>, I look forward to pumpkin pie".   I was hoping to jump right in and say something like "I hope the Smartly Visa doesn't get further nerfed, fall '25 and beyond!".

And that's when you would find out all the "I haven't heard of Smartly Visa" responses, whereas apparently most ARE familiar with pumpkin pie!

No invite to this one. I'm on BoA's version and I had PNC's before I gave them the boot.

Re: USBank Idea Exchange

I've been doing this for several months now.  Oftentimes reviewing an ad that they are proposing for their products.  It takes some time to go through and answer.  And there is no survey progress tracker as you are going along.

But, what's in it for me?  How do I get rewards?  Or where do I find my rewards (if any)?

Re: USBank Idea Exchange

Unaware of this new US Bank venture!

Need to say that going back to around 2021 I actually worked directly with the US Bank IT and Customer Service Departments on various actual re-writes of the entire US Banking On-Line. It was not  a club.

They called me and we would spend one to two hours at a time looking at and brainstorming needed US Bank IT changes over all product lines but the investor side. It was useful and quite interesting. From the time spent changes very slowly were implemented. Suspect there were others who complained they connected with too.

How did I get involved? Got mad at various IT situations with US Bank and complained. They shot me a few emails for information and then they actually contacted me. As I mentioned, they would communicate regularily over a two year period.

Some of the changes are included in their various online updates. The previous CEO was a good manager but was not pro IT. The new CEO has made it virtually Job#1 and has been focused on modernizing the IT functions.

Many of us know that US Bank was old school so many improvement were virtually catching up to the modern world. Now they are moving into the future.
