Re: What's in your wallet?

I have a wallet with sixteen card slots! The cards I carry:

These don't have their own slot:

Target REDcard (5% at Target)

Victoria's Secret Angel VIP Card

Starbucks Rewards Gold

These get their own slot and are in the six prime pockets currently (starting top to bottom, left to right):

Discover it - rotating, love ShopDiscover

Chase Sapphire Preferred - dining/travel

Chase Freedom - rotating

Citi Dividend - rotating (love movies this quarter!)

Fidelity Amex - non-category (and sometimes dining places if I'm scared it won't be coded in such a way that Chase will give me 2x points)

Amex Everyday - met the sign-up bonus spend (will replace this with Citi Double Cash when it arrives)

Non prime six pockets (just not as easy access):

Blue Cash Everyday - I'd use this to buy things at grocery stores, which I don't frequently do

BankAmericard Cash Rewards - this is linked to auto-reload my Starbucks Rewards Gold... I should try to PC it to the Better Balance Rewards or just add that, too

empty slot

Barclaycard Rewards - internet bill charged to this for 2% on utilities; I also sometimes use this at convenience stores

Capital One Quicksilver - was using when Fidelity Amex wasn't accepted, but now I'll have Citi Double Cash, so I'll just use this for international charges

Green Card - my first card! doesn't get a ton of use these days

last four pockets (super, super easy access):

license

company-issued credit card

Discover debit card - for purchases less than $5.00 for $0.10 cash back

Chase debit card - use this at ATMs, as Chase is my main bank

I don't carry my Slate card (I got that just to move limits around...), the card for my Capital One checking account (only opened that because they gave me $50 for free basically, now there's no money in there), the card for my Chase savings (I think there's a separate card for that), nor for my BofA savings account (which I opened and keep at the minimum for when I have enough rewards to transfer in with a 10% bonus).

Re: What's in your wallet?

The main three credit cards in my wallet are:

1. Sallie Mae WMC - gas & groceries

2. U.S. Bank Cash + VS - all dining purchases

3. Fidelity Amex - Costco, miscellaneous spend

I alternate a fourth card between Chase Freedom and Amex TrueEarnings

I will hopefully be able to PC a Citi Diamond Preferred card I currently have SD'd to the new Double Cash card and then replace the Fidelity Amex with it.

Re: What's in your wallet?

My current cards in my wallet:

Costco TE:  Restaurants, Gas

BCE:  Anywhere else that takes AMEX and not covered by store cards below

Sony Card:  Anywhere that does not take AMEX and not covered by store cards below

Target: 5% off and free S&H on target.com

Wal-Mart:  At Wally (I like the "cashover" feature, but mainly for use)

Amazon:  all Amazon purchases (mainly for use)

JCP:  Rite-Aid, JCP (mainly for use)

Macy's: Macy's (discounts vary)

The Sony Card use will definitely be switched when the Double Cash arrives.   However, I'll probably still use BCE for general spend until the CL increases on Double Cash.
