if anyone can help me create a "countdown" clock from this HTML? It's a short html...not sure if it matters or not??
somehow i can't seem to get it to work or create itself. It's free from dateandtime.com and i thought it would be cool to add to my siggy.
i hope it's allowed??
OR
is there anyone who has one already created that i can use?
any help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks

I can't seem to find the html for that clock.
The issue is you need html for your siggy.
Try creating one here: https://countingdownto.com/
Use the EMBED link under the clock after you create it- add that to your sig and see if it works.
CHEERS
i tried it and it didn't work.
i'm not good at this stuff
this is the embedded html:
<iframe width="175" height="55" src="https://w2.countingdownto.com/2347910" frameborder="0"></iframe>
i just don't kmow how to move things around to the correct spot...i.e. <img src=".......stuff like that...?
it does look cool though thank you! just wished it worked lol

Ok that's not full html.
I made a test one and got it to work by using the email version.
So on the page the top tab is create for email.
Use that version and it will work. I tested one. https://countingdownto.com/email-countdowns/new
Good Luck!
ok. awesome! i'll try it and let ya know...
thanks, Pika!!

Yay you! You're getting it worked out..
There was a sizing bar and colors etc to the right on the creation page. It's a sliding bar, you can preview the size as it populates.
You should be able to go to your clock, on that site and edit those things, you will have to recopy & enter the new html in your siggy.
OR You can play with the code, find the sizing in the html and edit that- it might work.
This is not your html:
<a href="https://countingdownto.com/email-countdown/uZjOkwtvUvJecg" target="_blank" style="display:block; text-align:center;"><img style="max-width: 227px; max-height: 142px; width: 100%;" src="https://w3.countingdownto.com/g/uZjOkwtvUvJecg"></a>
The red is the sizing info.
ETA: Nevermind I see you're working it out..
thanks a million!!!
I'm having FUN with this!!
i'm going to look up html sizing codes and like you said play around with sizes. WISH i can get that banner off...but, it's advertising, i guess.
THANKS A BUNCH, Pika!!
P.S. I KNOW I'm going to get carried away with this HTML stuff!!

You're welcome no worries..
I'm quite rusty- lol I used to code a LOT. I created a lot of web pages, several forums and also did digital content for online 3-d chat sites, many moons ago..
It is quite fun and there are some great tutorials online..
I just checked and yeah, they want $$ not just a sign up with your email.
I wasn't aware of that when I recommended it to you.
You can google and likely find other countdown clocks that wont have the banner- everyone wants to make a buck these days. sheesh.
Anyway, have fun with your coding..
I'm off to dreamland.. Good Night!
