Anyone familiar with the process for loan cancellation?

This might be a long shot...

I posted previously that I have 21 SL's with Navient from American InterContinental University. On Forbes, in January of this year, they wrote an article stating that Career Education Corp. would be cancelling the loans associated with this University and Colorado Tech.

Does anyone know what I should do to ensure that my loans are cancelled, if CEC is required to do so?

Re: Anyone familiar with the process for loan cancellation?

It looks like this was part of a settlement and you should have (or will) receive something in the mail.

Here is the link to the AG Announcement: https://www.azag.gov/press-release/ag-brnovich-announces-22-million-debt-relief-arizona-students-who...

It looks like this is for loans held by CEC though, not federal student loans. You may qualify for federal loan forgiveness, but that would be a different process and go through Navient.
