CRI Student Loan Reporting question

I recently received part of my student loans that hit my TU report. My servicer is CRI. I was wondering if anyone else is through them, and if they will eventually show up on EQ and EX?  So far just on TU and it has been a couple weeks since they showed up there.  It actually improved my TU FICO by about 3 points since I didn't have any open installment loans on it, wondering if it will be the same for the other two. However, I have 1 open installment loan for the next month or so on EX for an affirm loan I have paid down to 1% remaining.

Re: CRI Student Loan Reporting question

Sadly for us, it doesn't look like people have much experience with CRI. Did they eventually report to all three credit bureaus? My loan is through CRI as well. They should be reporting to the credit bureaus for the first time tomorrow. I was hoping they would report to all three bureaus. That's at least what I remember seeing on their website.

Re: CRI Student Loan Reporting question

They do in fact report to all three. They also report account separately as well, so if you're getting subsidized and unsubsidized, expect multiple accounts. They have been super easy to work with and decently quick to answer questions if you have any questions - no complaints from me so far. I'm on my second year now and my new loans are through them too.

Re: CRI Student Loan Reporting question

That sounds great. I am only planning on accepting subsidized loans right now. It should be enough to cover all my expenses with the grants and other income I receive. Do they report multiple accounts if I only do subsidized loans? Or is that only if I do unsubsidized as well? Everything else sounds great, though. I hope my experience will be as good as yours.

I would expect every loan to report individually.

Last year, I only had subsidized loans because I also qualified for a grant. This year, I didn’t qualify for a grant since my income was above the limit. In the first year, the subsidized loan only reported as one account. This year, the new subsidized and unsubsidized loans are reporting separately (not counting the 2024–2025 loan).

They do. But for my first few disbursements, each one showed up as a brand new loan, which hit my credit report as a new account every couple of months. Eventually, they got grouped together. Not sure if this was usual or just an temporary error.
