Chase SL denial

I was denied a SL from Chase. Has anyone been denied for these reasons? Insufficient credit for field of study - It seems that people in my major don't pay their bills and are not credit worthy, therefore I was denied. I should have asked with majors they prefer. I asked why this wasn't an issue when they gave me a private loan last year. They said because of the credit climate, they had to add these to the mix. Insufficient credit for grade level - Again, it seems that graduating seniors don't pay their bills either. I can't win! I asked if they were looking for clean reports and she told me there are way too many factors to answer that question. She said folks with clean reports are being denied. I suspect these reasons will be cropping up because of the economy….

Um...they are saying they can't trust soon-to-be-lawyers???  What the...??

I'd be interested to know how they found their own legal team....
