Do student loans help while deferred?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if student loans help score while deferred. I have a few student loans in good standing, I just graduated with my BA and now onto my masters. Does it count as good history or not until payments start, thanks.

Someone else can chime in but they will be displayed as deferred on your CR so not exactly sure if that helps or not. My student loan is currently deferred but I am still making payments so my CR indicates that as well.

It will report as an account in good standing and "pays as agreed."  The loan will count in your credit mix, average age of accounts and total number of accounts just like a loan that is in active repayment.
