I just made my last (9th) payment to rehab my federal Perkins loan. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Congratulations!  You should see some changes in the next 30-90 days as your loan is picked up by a new servicer, your new tradeline reports, and all the default notations/remarks are removed from your report.  Hopefully you'll see a nice score boost, and be able to set up a payment plan and method that works for you so you can pay the rest of the loan off without any more lates.
