My son in law's CR shows two hard pullsfrom Student Loan Assistance on June 5, 2008 and then again on June 8, 2008. Student Loan Assistance is Sallie Mae???? and can they two hard pulls like that? The loan was not in default.

If its the US Dept of Ed or any other Sallie Mae, they can pull anytime they want but usually do it only one time in a month. He should write a letter to the CRA and dispute the one inquiry, he hasn't applied for any loans, credit etc.
