BCE by AMEX result...

After a lot of cold feet and being nervous to take the plunge on trying for a real card that's not secured or a Synchrony card, I pulled the trigger on the BCE AMEX card.  Let me tell you, it's been a long time since I've felt butterflies like that.

The result...

I was approved!!  My SL was set at $10,000 which almost knocked me out of my desk chair!!  (Kinda makes me think I could fire off one more application without worry, but I'm not going to test fate.)

I cannot express how happy I am at the moment.  It's taken me two years to get to this point after avoiding credit cards altogether for MANY years.  I owe this forum a HUGE DEBT OF GRATITUDE AND THANKS!!  All the advice I've received from comments and postings really made this happen today.

Gosh...I'm still in SHOCK!!  Now to find $1000 worth in the first 3 months so I can get my $200 bonus.  I'm not one to let money pass by.  ;-)

Forum drinks for everyone on me!!!!  Smiley Very Happy Smiley Very Happy

Re: BCE by AMEX result...

That's a great SL, they really like your profile. You probably have a year or 15 months at 0% on purchases, too. With Amex, I thought it best to not take advantage of that - I want to keep that relationship in the honeymoon stage indefinitely. Smiley Wink

Re: BCE by AMEX result...

I wanted to take a moment to say THANKS to everyone for the comments and kudos.  I'm still on cloud 9 today!!  I'm definitely going to use it very sparingly and wisely.
