I have mega lates on my Nelnet student loans. I called to inquire about the dates I was in deferral and was told that my payments we're in backdated forbearance..some of the dates coincide with my reporting lates. It was so long ago that I honestly don't even remember the circumstances on the lates or the deferrals but I want to try to get some of those lates off. Anyone had luck getting backdated forbearance lates off with a Goodwill?? Advice, anyone???
